In asserting that psychologically, consciousness is not ended at death but paused, the theory of a natural eternal consciousness reveals a dualistic immortality. Our self and our soul remain time­lessly present in the context of our final experience, which could be heavenly. However, as one cannot control the nature of this experience, end-of-life accountability is possible, which should both encourage more people to seek religion and improve human behavior.
